States Without Full-Time Baseball Academies
Full-time baseball academies concentrate heavily in Florida, Texas, Arizona, Georgia, and the Carolinas. If you live in California, New York, the Midwest, or the Pacific Northwest, your in-state options are limited — that is a market fact, not a research gap. Basecademy currently verifies academies in 12 states (Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, PR, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia). Here is what families in the other states typically consider.
1. Day Academies
Trosky Academy operates verified non-residential day academies in Dallas-Fort Worth and Katy (TX) and Rock Hill (SC), where athletes live at home and complete ASU Prep online academics. California locations (Pasadena, Walnut Creek) are listed on Trosky’s official locations page but their enrollment links were inactive at our last verification pass — confirm launch status with Trosky directly before planning around them.
2. Residential Relocation
The majority of out-of-state athletes at Florida and Carolina academies board or use arranged housing. Verified residential academies currently in the directory:

4. Homeschool Competitive Teams
Organizations like Indy Genesis (IN) and the Homeschool World Series Association network offer competitive schedules for homeschooled athletes, though without the dedicated facility and daily curriculum of a true academy. These are teams, not academies, so they are not listed in the Basecademy directory.
